You ever feel lonely? I do. When I was a freshman in High school, It was the worst year I could have imagined.
But when God showed up in my life through an even worse citation, I learned I was never alone. God is not only Big and Powerful, but also personal.
Minutes before recording the episode, my Bible randomly opened to Lamentations 3:21-25. It says: "But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.” The LORD is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.
Those words come in the middle of one of the hardest citations in the Bible. Those words are True. Those words are good. Because God’s words are good, and we can read it, love it, and understand it.
